Ms. Champagne, the most enthusiastic, loving, funny and caring a teacher can be

When you walk into Ms. Champagne's classroom, you hear students laughing and talking. You hear the sounds of pencils and keyboards going to work on blank pages. You see artwork and colors all around her room created by her students. This classroom is Ms. Champagne’s Journalism, Creative Writing, and English classroom.

Before her job as a teacher, Ms. Champagne worked in public relations for credit unions for 17 years. She chose to be a teacher because she loves English and reading and writing. Mrs. Champagne also loves being around kids. This is Ms. Champagne’s 6th year teaching at Frost Middle Schools.

Ms. Champagne has 4 brothers and one sister. Her sister and her are older and she works in nurse education at INOVA Fairfax hospital. “I love her because if any of my kids are sick, it is nice to have a health care provider in my family.” Ms. Champagne stated.

Ms. Champagne has an extended family with four brothers and one sister. She loves nature and being outdoors. She enjoys spending time with her dog and her 16 and 17 year old kids. Her favorite artist is Taylor Swift and she listens to her music all the time.

“The worst part about being a teacher is when my kids leave at the end of the year. I wont see them again and it is really sad, according to Ms. Champagne She also says that reading every student's writing is a lot of work as well as grading them but she really loves it.

Ms. Champagne’s dream in college was to write for natural geographic so she can be a biographer. “I love meeting new people!” she said. She's happy, though, she ended up in teaching

Ms. Champagne loves traveling with her family to a lot of places. She enjoys being outdoors and writing about the things that she sees. She likes writing about her travels as well.
