Home Alone is a great Christmas time movie, loved by families all around the world. This classic Christmas film is inspired by a stressful holiday vacation.  Home Alone is a Christmas classic created in 1990 but still a popular movie today by many families.  It is an awesome movie about a family that was going on vacation but forgot one of their kids, and he needs to live on his own for a while.  Who knows what problems he will face.

Home Alone is about a young mischievous boy whose family planned on going on a vacation for Christmas. As they start packing for the trip Kevin wishes he didn’t have a family. His whole family was upset with Kevin because he was being very rude to everyone. The next day Kevin overslept and his family miscounted the amount of kids going on the trip, they thought they had everyone in the van. Kevin woke up to his house being empty.

At first Kevin was relieved that his family was gone. He enjoyed his time without people bugging him. However as time passed Kevin felt lonely and started to miss his family. Kevin’s enjoyment quickly ended when he found out a pair of burglars were going to rob his house on Christmas eve. So now Kevin has to defend himself and his home.

We recommend this movie for all ages, this movie is a great movie to watch on the holidays with  family and friends. The reason why we give this movie five stars is because no matter how many times we watch it, we don’t get tired of watching Kevin defend himself and his house.  Another reason why we love this movie is because it’s so funny and the plot of the story is entertaining. Not to mention how great the acting is. The movie’s plot is great because of all the characters and the fun scenes. The overall rating for home alone is a five star because it is great for family and friends, kids and adults. Our advice to you is to watch this movie with family and friends.
