The fire sparkled as we were roasting marshmallows, Me and my Friends were at the Evergreen Lake Forest, This place has rumors for zombie sightings and for some reason, my friends decided to camp at this, they believe it is a myth because zombies don’t exist
“ Guys, I don’t feel safe here..” Alexis, One of my Friends, rolled her eyes and said “ Reha, we know you get scared easily but trust me, there is no such thing as a zombie in this forest.” Suddenly the sirens rang.
My friends were just as confused as I was, but that didn’t last long when we heard something strange running towards us. We got up from our chairs, didn’t even bother to bring anything with us and ran in the opposite direction trying to save ourselves from whatever was chasing us in the woods.

I was so tired of running, I was about to collapse, but knowing the fact that there is something chasing us was scaring me, so I kept running. That was until we saw a group of zombies standing right infront of us, their shirts had holes and their skin was puke green. We thought of running back but we were surrounded. It was done for us, But then, a zombie collapsed and one by one, all of them were unconscious. I was so scared but my heart skipped a beat when someone tapped my shoulder.
It turns out, it was Eli, One of my best friends. Apparently, she knocked out each zombie with a flick on their head, “ Wow! You have to teach us how to do that! You know, to defend ourselves.” said Alexis, “ I will, But right now, I need you all to follow me.” Without questioning, we all followed Eli into the dark woods.

“ We’re Here.” Eli said. It was an abandoned house hidden inside the woods, there were broken windows, pieces of wood and more. The entire house was almost swallowed by vines. We followed Eli into the darkness, unaware of what was coming next.
