The royal guards of France are currently on the lookout for the would-be kidnapper of Princess Aurora, who had attempted to abduct her last Sunday night, after breaking into the castle, climbing up the stairs to her room, and planting a kiss on her lips.
Police have not yet identified a motive, but they suspect the man may have been highly intoxicated while at the scene. According to police, the last words he said before fleeing were, “I have saved the kingdom from certain doom! You cannot keep me from my true love!”
The princess recounted the scene as extremely terrifying, saying she had never been so scared or annoyed in her life. She described the man as a tall, Caucasian man with dark hair, around twenty-five years old.
“I was like, having the best beauty sleep of my entire life. But then, this stupid buffoon stomps into my bedroom–without permission, by the way–and kisses me. Like, ew. I wake up and I see this creep standing over me, grinning. So, obviously, I punched him. Ha! And he was, like, screaming in pain or something, so I called the guards and they tried to arrest him but like, he just ran off, screaming something about his true love. What a weirdo,” she said.
Aurora’s parents, King Stefan and Queen Leah, are highly distraught over the situation. They have vowed to find the intruder, and urge anyone with information on anything involving the princess’s attempted kidnapping to come forward.
In a statement Monday morning, the King said, “We will find this man, wherever he is. He is a threat to national security, and when he is found, he will be put to jail for life.”
