‘Brave’ is a book by Svetlana Chmakova. It follows Jensen, who loves to draw and is a daydreamer. In his daydreams he is a superhero always saving the world; but in reality he is struggling with friends and school. He gets pulled into the school news by Jenny and Akilah for a social experiment.
I think Brave is a good book because it talks about real science, the art style is very inviting, and it has a good amount of drama but not too much. The book talks about real world science with the social experiment about a person’s Lizard brain and the effects of bullying on someone. The art style is very inviting because it is very light and gives positive vibes. Brave gives just the right amount of drama from friends having small struggles then making up. That is why I think Brave is a good book.
If you want a book that is lighthearted but has good morals, Brave is the book for you.
